The course is open. After extensive but necessary course maintenance, the course manager and his team are pleased to inform all members that the course is FULLY OPEN.
The maintenance work is completed on the greens and the GREENS ARE BACK IN PLAY.
However, some of the greens may need 'topped up' with dressing in the next day or so.
THANK YOU for your patience,understanding and respect to the greens team during the course maintenance.
PLEASE PLACE ALL RAKES FULLY INSIDE OF BUNKERS AFTER USE. THIS WILL PREVENT THE ROBOT MOWERS FROM GETTING STUCK AGAINST THEM.
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COURSE AND YOUR ENJOYMENT....PLEASE REPAIR ALL YOUR PITCHMARKS ON GREENS AND REPLACE ALL DIVOTS ON FAIRWAYS.

Founded in 1893, Workington Golf Club is a magnificent James Braid designed parkland course, with a challenging par of 72. Our course is located on the West Coast of Cumbria, just a few miles from the inspiration that is The Lake District National Park. This scenic course offers spectacular views over the Solway firth to Scotland, and east towards the Cumbrian fells.
The Clubhouse is open to members & non-members.
